My husband finally realized that we needed help in the yard. So some guys worked here the other day. WHen I walked out our entire front of the house was naked. Nothing......he said it looks so much better. Seriously. I thought they were coming back to plat something but nope. He will take forever doing something...as he has no idea. Oh my.
Oh how I would love some help in the garden (the house I can manage). Instead of enjoying what is in bloom, all I can see are the beds filled with weeds, overgrown shrubs and plants which need dividing or cutting. With all of the rain & warm weather, things just bloomed so early and weeds got totally out of control. Oh well, enough time chatting, the garden beckons!
I know what you mean, Pam. We have been trying to get our backyard into shape for a photo shoot on Monday. How do people get anything done AND blog every darn day?! It's all I can do to accomplish what I can WHEN I can. LOL Hope you are staying cool- it is HOT in Ohio these days. :-)
Hello, I am Pam. Wife, mother, daughter, sister, artist, crafter, collector. Making an effort to cobble it all together into a life lived more frugally, less wastefully and with abundant happiness and love.
Frippery is the place I come to hash it all out with my kindred blogger spirits. Friends of the soul, mind and heart.
Frippery is also the name of my business, where pieces of the past are saved, re-loved, transformed and sent to live all fresh in a new home. Fluff, finery and nonsense may not be necessities but they enhance the journey. The journey being life.
Thanks for joining me, Pam

Ummm...this people don't. It would take a village to help me get things decent.

P.S. And I don't mean the Village People!

I'd settle for a maid, and a gardener.....and a box of bon bons.....smiles
Boy, I hear you. And I have a tiny yard! This heat makes it difficult to keep things looking fresh. Your garden looks charming!

I know exactly what you mean.
Don't throw your back out!

I need a whole cleaning crew! But that's okay, as long as we keep making an effort right?
Don't forget to play some. Happy weekend!

I am in SO over my head this month. My garden is calling me! Maybe on the 4th of July, I can go play out there. I love this blog, by the way.
I've got to get out and do some work- could use some help too! Well, I put on some good music and it keeps me occupied. Whistling while I work!
