Frustration! No more photos!

I can't load any more photos from my computer to blogger because it says I am at the limit. So I paid Picasa (Which I have never used BTW) for storage which appears to be the only way I can add more photos. I STILL cannot load any photos to my blog. It keeps coming back that I am at my limit and must pay. Since they have already charged my card I already PAID. ARGGGHHH! Blogging has been becoming a bit of a burden lately but this may be the last straw! I know others are having similar issues. How did you resolve them? What used to be fun is becoming a pain in the rear. I can't seem to find any help from blogger, google or Picasa, so....HELP!....anyone?.....please?

Oh, I hate this for you and your readers. Haven't run into this issue yet, but I'm sure it is not too far behind. I always wondered how much the servers can hold. We shall see an I look forward to your solution. Sea Witch

If you 'just' made the payment, I think it takes time for Blogger to update and recognize the payment. Seems when I did it that I read somewhere that it can take a day or so before it becomes effective.

Check with Lisa at Tarnished and Tattered. She had the exact same problem and got it resolved with a little help from a friend...kinda like your music choice!

I think you can get a free account at Photobucket and upload through them---BUT---since Blogger has partnered with Picassa, I am not sure.
At any rate, some of the items on my blog go through photobucket, so I would give it a shot. It's free, other than your time.
I have a rant in the can for tomorrow about Blogger..... ;)

Oh my I didn't know that this could be an issue! Is it possible to go back, resize photos from old posts, and reload to lower your space used??

As far as paying and still having problems I'm finding that more and more all the time when I pay for things, services etc and it response time is s-l-o-w. Thankfully it usually works out in the end.

Good Luck!

Pam, I think it was a post you wrote about this earlier this week? I dunno, I've been in a "paint fog". I looked into my photo storage and made a few changes.
Each picture we put on our blog is "stored" in a picasa web folder. If you go to google.com and over on the right click settings, then click google account settings.
Then click picasa web albums.
When I did that, I noticed that recently every picture I had uploaded was in the album TWICE, taking up TWICE as much space. I blog in Windows Live Writer. I had set the default to open a larger picture should someone click on one of my pics. So therefore it was saving each picture twice. I have since changed that and each picture is only uploading one time. It has made me rethink how I upload pics. I do not want to run out of storage space and have to pay. Does any of this useless info help? Perhaps if you go to your picasa web album, there will be a way for you to figure this all out. so sorry you are having all this trouble.
